Space Applications in the Australian Context synthesises critical elements of the global space industry ecosystem including the role of Australia. Our experts will guide you through the policy, governance in Australian space industry, current and potential applications and capabilities providing a roadmap to this exciting landscape.

You will explore the fundamentals of operating in a space environment, including the physics of space, the solar system and the foundations of rocket science. Engage with industry leaders as you apply and demonstrate your knowledge and receive feedback through events tailored to your professional context and interests.

You will gain basic knowledge of the Space Industry and its operating framework in a tailor made 6 weeks online course. Besides being exposed to subject matter expert knowledge, you will also have access to leading academics who will guide you through the course, facilitate discussion and answer any questions you may have throughout the course.

This unique 6 weeks online course will then peak in a 1-day intensive workshop on-campus where you will meet likeminded peers as well as leading space technology academics.

Who should attend?

Non-space industry professionals who either have an interest in, are keen to start up a new business venture in or plan a career change from a related industry to the space industry.

Students in Australia on an International Student Visa are not eligible to enrol in this micro unit. International students outside Australia or those reside in Australia not on an international student visa are eligible to enrol.
