This is a nationally approved unit of competency that is recognised throughout Australia
This nationally accredited CPR course teaches you the first aid skills and knowledge to perform Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) in line with the Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) guidelines.
The following unit is delivered as a skill-set SS-CARDRE:
- Provide CPR (HLTAID001)
Upon successful completion of these units, participants will receive a statement of attainment.
Note: In order to attend a Provide CPR workshop, you will need to submit evidence of a valid Provide First Aid (HLTAID003) certificate before your application can be processed. Attach this evidence in the Supporting Documentation section when you go through the online application.
First aiders should attend training on a regular basis to refresh their first aid knowledge and skills and to confirm their competence to provide first aid. Refresher training in CPR should be undertaken annually and first aid qualifications should be renewed every three years (Safework Australia).
