This Microcredential unit examines key theories of innovation within the context of the innovation life cycle to understand how effective innovation strategy can be used as a tool in entrepreneurship. New ventures, businesses, organisations and corporations use innovation strategy to drive growth through value.

Understanding the elements of innovation strategy, and its role within the organisation’s system, is imperative for sustainable innovation. You will also explore tools and techniques that will facilitate your understanding of the barriers and enablers of innovation within the organisation.
