This two-day Business Analysis course gives professionals the skills to transform a business and teaches them how to become architects of change at their workplace. At its heart, you will learn how to define needs and recommend solutions that will achieve change.
You will learn a range of tools and techniques to seek out and define problems and opportunities, assess and analyse them, then work with stakeholders as you create a blueprint for change.
You will also learn to manage solution assessments and validations, plus be able to apply business analysis techniques to identify problems and opportunities within your organisation.
The ability to analyse, solve problems, capitalise on opportunities, define solutions and create efficiencies can be learnt in this course, and participants will take away tools and frameworks that allow them to be true architects of change in their workplace.

This two-day course introduces essential business analysis concepts and provides practical techniques and activities for anyone needing to perform business analysis activities even if their title doesn’t include ‘Business Analyst’.
Learning objectives
You will learn the skills to:
- Conduct a business needs analysis and elicit stakeholder requirements. This will include the ability to elicit, analyse and specify effective requirements.
- Apply business analysis techniques to identify key problems and potential opportunities in your organisation, including a Value Chain analysis.
- Understand root causes of issues using Six-Sigma style techniques.
- Process modelling and prototyping, and manage solution assessments and validation.
- Produce requirements documentation.
- Apply Business Process Maturity Modelling (BPMM).
- Produce User stories
