Selected major: Psychology and Psychophysiology

Note: This Major is 16 units (200 Credit Points)

Due to government regulations, international students holding an international student visa are not able to undertake the Psychology and Forensic Science major or the Psychology and Psychophysiology major as part of the double degree.

Gain a broad introduction to a range of relevant studies in psychology, including cognition, developmental psychology, social psychology, personality, design and measurement, psychological measurement and abnormal psychology. Learn about physiological processes relevant to the study of psychology and address neuroanatomy; neurophysiology; physiological responses to sleep, dreaming, memory and cognition; and brain disorders.The three-year undergraduate major in psychology is professionally accredited by the Australian Psychology Accreditation Council. Graduates who complete this major are eligible to apply for the Bachelor of Psychological Sciences (Honours).

The Human Resource Management major focuses on how to successfully manage people, create a productive working environment and build a positive workplace culture.

You will gain skills in core areas such as organisational behaviour, industrial relations, diversity and fostering an inclusive workplace, performance management and innovation, international HR management, employee health and wellbeing, data-driven decision making and evidence-based management.

Real examples and strong industry input will prepare you for the many career opportunities in this large and growing employment area.

This Human Resource Management major is professionally accredited by the Australian Human Resources Institute (AHRI).

The Bachelor of Health Science/Bachelor of Business double degree aims to develop a set of complementary and cross-disciplinary skills and knowledge in health and business.

You'll explore Australian and international health challenges and examine the physical, psychological and social aspects of health in a variety of settings.

You'll also gain core skills and knowledge in business, management and operations to prepare for work in modern organisations.

Work Integrated Learning is a guaranteed part of all our bachelor degrees and can include placements, internships or industry-linked projects. In this double degree, in the Health Sciences Project (HEA30001), and Industry Consulting Project (BUS30009), you’ll have the opportunity to apply your learning and work collaboratively in multi-disciplinary teams on an industry-linked project.
