The Human Resource Management major focuses on how to successfully manage people, create a productive working environment and build a positive workplace culture.

You will gain skills in core areas such as organisational behaviour, industrial relations, diversity and fostering an inclusive workplace, performance management and innovation, international HR management, employee health and wellbeing, data-driven decision making and evidence-based management.

Real examples and strong industry input will prepare you for the many career opportunities in this large and growing employment area.

This Human Resource Management major is professionally accredited by the Australian Human Resources Institute (AHRI).

This course provides an initial, undergraduate teaching qualification with the prospect of a business career. The Bachelor of Education (Secondary) provides students with the capacity to engage in innovative approaches to teaching and learning in a secondary school, as well as the ability to reflect on the social, ethical and professional expectations that the rise of technology brings to the classroom. It combines general education studies and teaching methods (curriculum studies) with three professional placements at a secondary school, 80 days in total. As a result, graduates are qualified to teach Years 7 to 12. Complementing this, the Bachelor of Business prepares students for the business profession, providing a solid foundation in the language of business and offering a practical curriculum with opportunities for industry engagement.
