There is a wealth of literature available that details the impact that emotion has on people both at home and at work.

This research has shown, for example, that people perform their best at work when they feel involved in purposeful work that develops who they are and when they feel valued, cared for, consulted, respected, informed, and understood. This research has also shown that people often perform their worst when they feel unproductive feelings such as feeling overly worried, frustrated, concerned, stressed, inadequate, and fearful.

This two-day Emotional Intelligence (EI) course is a practical and skills-based program designed to improve EI and create positive workplace environments.

You will be able to increase your impact, effectiveness, and resilience, be better equipped to resolve workplace conflict, and create a more energised and engaged workforce. The development of these skills helps leaders deliver exceptional business outcomes.

This course includes a Genos Leadership Emotional Intelligence Assessment that is conducted prior to the start of the course. You will undertake a self-assessment and then learn what your self-perception is compared to others’ perceptions. This 360-degree feedback has a huge impact as you learn how you respond to other people and how you react.

You’ll also gain a great understanding of other’s emotional responses and will gain greater EI awareness so you can make the most positive impact that you can.

Who should attend?

This course is highly suitable for new managers, people moving into management positions, and existing leaders and managers who want to increase their impact by employing EI skills.
