This research has shown, for example, that people perform their best at work when they feel involved in purposeful work that develops who they are, when they feel valued, cared for, consulted, respected, informed and understood. This research has also shown that people often perform their worst when they feel unproductive feelings such as feeling overly worried, frustrated, concerned, stressed, inadequate and fearful.
This is a practical and skills based program designed to improve a leader’s emotional intelligence skills and create positive workplace environments. The program is designed to support leaders to increase their impact, effectiveness and resilience, be better equipped to resolve workplace conflict and create a more energised and engaged workforce. The development of these skills help leaders deliver exceptional business outcomes.
This course includes a Genos Leadership Emotional Intelligence Assessment. Through the use of this online assessment tool, participants are provided with the perspective and opportunity to deepen awareness of the aspects of their leadership most important to their team members, their leadership strengths and areas for development.
Note: You will need to complete the Genos Emotional Intelligence Assessment before attending the workshop. This is to maximise the time in discussing results within the context of the workshop content.
