Applicants would normally be university graduates with a Bachelor degree or have undertaken a specific vocational program in safety such as the CASA Diploma of Aviation Safety Regulation.
Alternatively, consideration will also be given to applicants who have completed at least two years experience* in an operational environment. Applications from individuals who do not have such experience will be assessed on their merits.
Although this course is primarily designed for people who work within the aviation industry, the general principles and tools may be applicable to other industries. Accordingly applicants from other industries (such as rail, medicine, petrochemical) who satisfy the general admission requirements may also be eligible.
* Relevant industry experience: If this includes work experience, documents substantiating work experience need to be provided on company letterhead and clearly detail roles as well as duties and duration of posts held.
