The Infection Control Skill Set course is designed for Victorian Aged Care and Disability workers wanting to learn a range of health and hygiene skills that can be applied in their existing roles to assist with the prevention of COVID-19.

This month-long online course in the prevention of infection transmission will cover everything from hygiene practises, use of protective equipment, effective surface cleaning, and contaminated waste disposal, to hazard identification, incident response and infection and transmission knowledge.

Graduates of this course will have a thorough and sought-after understanding of workplace procedures and best practises through the lens of a global pandemic, and will be uniquely prepared for roles in management.

Students will require access to a mobile device or tablet with video recording capabilities, as video submissions will make up a component of their assessments.
