The Infection Control Skill Set (Transport and Logistics) is tailored to Victorians working in transport and logistics roles, in administrative, management and retail positions. Students of this month-long course will study a range of health and hygiene skills that can be applied in their existing roles to assist with the prevention and response to Coronavirus.
Subjects covered will include hand hygiene practises, effective surface cleaning, use of protective equipment, contaminated waste disposal, hazard identification, incident response and infection and transmission knowledge, as well as appropriate protocols and responses in the event of an incident.
Students will graduate with a thorough understanding of procedures and best practises relevant to COVID-19 and the current global pandemic, and will be distinctly prepared for management roles in their workplace.
As video submissions will make up a component of their assessments, students will need to have access to a mobile device or tablet with video recording capabilities.
