The Graduate Certificate in Client Assessment and Case Management (CHC82015) is designed for experienced case management practitioners who work in Aboriginal Controlled Organisations (ACO’s). The course has a family Violence focus.
Key areas in the course include:
- Facilitation, micro skills and group theory
- Collaborative model of intervention
- Theoretical frameworks that underpin Men’s Behavioural Change group work
- Promoting and managing diversity and inclusion
- Enhancing the safety of women and children who are affected by men’s use of family violence

Entry requirements
- A minimum three-year tertiary qualification or equivalent in an associated field (equivalency may include significant work experience*) in an Aboriginal Controlled Organisation in a role involving assessment and case management services.
- Work experience: applicants are required to submit a Resume/CV clearly detailing roles and duties, and duration of posts held, as well as copies of qualifications and academic transcripts.
- Applicants will need to demonstrate literacy and numeracy competencies.
- Applicants will be required to attend an interview.
