The Diploma of Marketing and Communication sets you up for a diverse career managing strategic messages through new and traditional media.
Learn to design and develop marketing communication plans in a hands-on environment and gain a strong understanding of advances in digital and social media. Discover how to identify and evaluate marketing opportunities and leverage digital and traditional media for audiences across all platforms.
You’ll put your newfound skills into practice and gain real experience working to a brief, budget and brand through industry-linked engagement opportunities and real-world projects for internal and external clients.
Upon completion you’ll be ready to progress to further study or go straight into the workforce. Graduate roles include marketing manager, marketing assistant and communications coordinator, in a variety of digital or brand marketing and communication settings.
The next intake for this course will be in 2022. Enrolments will open in November 2021.

Entry requirements
How to apply
Applications for all other intakes should be made directly to Swinburne.
Students needing to complete the entry requirement units from the Certificate IV in Marketing and Communication (BSB42415) will first complete the five core units of the Marketing and Communication Foundations Skill Set (BSBSS00107) before the Diploma, starting the Skill Set at the next available intake and progressing into the Diploma.
