Students collaborated with Kara House women's crisis accommodation to create an impactful website which could easily be updated. The Kara House site clearly sets out a range of support services for women and children in abusive relationships, encourages them to seek help and offers respite. It also contains important educational information about domestic violence. As a result of our industry engagement with Kara House, this project won the 2018 PAVE Deputy Vice-Chancellor's Excellence Award.
