Biography
Mrs Samira Kerbage has extensive nursing experience in critical care settings over the past 18 years. Samira has a Masters of Nursing (Critical Care) and a Masters of Physiology. Her research focus is in the area of pain assessment and cardiovascular care in critical care. Currently she is completing her PhD relating to pain management in the critical care setting. She is an active member of the Australian Critical Care Nursing Association and works closely with nursing colleagues at Peninsula Private Hospital. Her teaching responsibilities within the nursing program entail: Pharmacology, Pathophysiology and Acute Nursing Care. She is a member of the Realist Research Group and the Novice Investigator Group which works under the Australia and New Zealand Intensive Care Society.
