Biography
Dr. Shigang Liu received his PhD in Computer Science from Deakin University, Australia. Currently, he is a Research Scientist with School of Science, Computing and Engineering Technologies, Swinburne University of Technology. His research mainly focuses on software security, data analytics, applied machine learning, and fuzzy information processing. He is currently leading a research group on applying deep learning to detect software vulnerabilities. This research topic won the first place of the World Change Maker Prize in Swinburne Research Conference in 2019.
He has published more than 30 research papers in many international journals and conferences. He is a member of the Editorial Board of the Journal of Mathematics and Informatics (JMI). He has been the PC member, Publication Chair and Local Arrangement Chair for several conferences including NSS2020/2021/2022, ML4CS2019, CSS2017/2022, CSDE2019 and so on.
