Biography

Dr Reneta Slikboer is a Research Fellow at Swinburne’s Faculty of Health Arts and Design with the Centre for Forensic Behavioural Science. Dr Slikboer’s research focuses on Forensic behaviour and psychology. She has research intrests in online child sexual exploitation, child sexual offender treatment and law enforcement of child sexual offenders. In addition she is interested in understanding the underlying factors of mental illness, with a specific interests in trichotillomania and OCD type disorders and treatment, including the ability of peer support to improve symtoms and quality of life. She received her PhD in March 2019 and has published research using a wide range of methods.
