Biography

Rebecca Willow-Anne Hutton is a full-time Senior Research Assistant at the Centre for Social Impact (CSI) Swinburne. She has a background in Psychology and Criminology and a broader interest in the environmental humanities, having moved to Melbourne in 2017 to write her Honours thesis on the cultural dimensions of ‘dumpster diving’.

Rebecca enjoys interdisciplinary and qualitative research. Since joining CSI Swinburne in 2018, she has been involved in projects spanning social policy, social enterprise, and migration and refugee policy. She also enjoys keeping active in the community and engaging in advocacy groups and initiatives.
