Biography
Dr. Peter Kamstra has a strong track record of publishing high-impact research in the interdisciplinary areas of Geography, Risk Reduction, Risk Analysis, Health and Communication. His expertise lies in using mixed methods Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and spatial analytics in partnership with multiple social purpose organizations to address Australia’s contemporary community health problems. His work has produced applied insights that can be used to improve community mental health services, bushfire emergency response and drowning prevention.
