Peter's employment in the aviation industry included over 16 years as an operations controller in the Operations Control department in TAA/Australian Airlines. He is the Deputy Chair in the Aviation department and the Course Coordinator for the Graduate Certificate, Graduate Diploma and Master of Aviation Human Factors and Management courses. At Undergraduate units he teaches Airline Operations and Aviation Business Strategies and management units, as well as supervising capstone projects. He is an active researcher with interests particularly in situation awareness, expertise and operational decision-making in an airline operational environment.
