Biography
Olamide is a Circular Economy Research Fellow at the Centre for Urban Transitions (CUT). He completed his PhD in urban sustainability transitions at CUT through the Swinburne University Postgraduate Research Award (SUPRA). Olamide's PhD research explored how household activities can be transformed as part of the transition of cities to circular economies. He has published journal articles and book chapters from his PhD research. As a Circular Economy Research Fellow, Olamide leads the Swinburne research team exploring how Victorian businesses can adopt circular business models through the Victoria Circular Activator (VCA). This project is led by RMIT and also involves Sustainability Victoria, Circular Economy Victoria and Planet Ark.
