Senior Catalyst Research Fellow


Melanie Simmons is a post-doctoral research fellow with the Centre for Forensic Behavioural Science’ Catalyst Consortium. Her research broadly focuses on understanding and assessing violent, sexual, and general criminal behaviour. Melanie is also a psychologist for the Victorian Institute of Forensic Mental Health (Forensicare). Currently, she works in a rehab unit at a forensic mental health hospital, working with individuals with complex mental health issues.
