Biography
Associate Professor Gianni Renda is Chair of the Department of Architectural and Industrial Design at Swinburne University of Technology. His primary research focus is investigating ways that design can empower the user in the field of health, disability and ageing. Other interests include advanced manufacturing, food design and automotive design. He has been awarded by the Cumulus Association, the Design Institute of Australia, and has received Dean’s Awards and Vice Chancellor Awards from Swinburne University of Technology.
