Dr Bruce Organ Is a Research Fellow for Transport Sustainability in the School of Engineering, Department of Civil and Construction Engineering. He has broad industry experience in design, development and manufacturing. He’s worked to build and establish research testing centres in Australia and abroad to provide certified emissions testing along with research into alternate fuels, energy and renewable fuels.

In parallel to this he’s developed and implemented bespoke testing solutions for government, university and private industrial research in air quality, remote sensing, transport and marine areas assessing emissions and providing benchmarks for decarbonisation and sustainability development.

Furthermore, he has significant tendering and service provision experience to government departments and research bodies for environmental monitoring projects, assessing and monitoring green transport projects, tailoring specialised solutions for training to then deliver this to industry groups and workforces for new technology introduction and regulation implementation.

Research interests

Decarbonisation of transportation, sustainable transport delivery, emissions testing and control, remote sensing, alternative and renewable fuels, electrical and new energy propulsion systems for land and marine applications, design and delivery of bespoke research testing solutions and education packages.
