Biography

Dr Anat Wilson studies the nature of metacognition(ing), coping, capacity, and consciousness in education drawing on qualitative and post-qualitative methodologies. With research experience in applied linguistics, SLA, art history, philosophy and educational psychology, her research approach is interdisciplinary. At the heart of all research and teaching activities is the aim to create, lead and engage in evidence-based programs that reduce suffering and improve collective and individual lived experiences through the advancement of knowledge. Anat has been conducting and leading national evaluations utilising qualitative methodologies. Anat lectures at Swinburne's Initial Teacher Education programs and is interested in supervising HDR projects aligned with the areas above.
