Using the lab

The Construction Simulation Hub is a specialised teaching, research and training space in building information modelling and construction management. TAFE and university students and staff can access the lab, and it’s available for external hire.

Equipment

The Construction Simulation Hub is a premium space for BIM and digital technologies, with a wide range of tools and equipment, such as:

  • Axiom Hologram Table
  • VR/AR/MR equipment sets (Microsoft Hololens 2, Meta Quest Pro, Apple Vision Pro)
  • Trimble X7 Laser Scanner
  • Special purpose computers with sophisticated modelling and visualisation software
  • Wearable technology fitted with sensors for safety and productivity studies
