Drop in for online advice

The LAS Drop-in Hub is now online! If you have a quick question about your assignments, assessments or managing your studies, ask an adviser between 2.30am–4.30pm Monday to Friday during weeks 3–12 of semester two. Connect with us online during opening hours at LAS Hub Online.

Online drop-in advice (20–30 minutes) includes:

  • writing essays, reports and other assignments and assessment tasks 
  • researching and referencing 
  • managing your studies and more

Chat and learn with LAS

Learn some useful study tips including how to study online. Also, share your experiences, make friends and stay connected with other students and the university. Join us online on Thursday and Friday, 12.30-1.30pm. No appointment needed.

English conversation group

Make friends, practise your English and learn interesting things about life and culture in Australia. Join us online on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, 12.30-1.30pm. No appointment needed.

Study skills workshops and short courses

Enrol in one of our free study skills workshops and short courses to improve your learning and academic skills for study and the workplace. They include negotiation skills, editing and proofreading strategies and LANTITE preparation.
