The reference for an audiovisual work includes the author, date, title and source. These elements are usually found on the site from which the work was retrieved or in the credits or metadata for the work. Here’s how to reference film and video recordings, television and radio programs, podcasts, online programs and DVDs.

Direct quote

The focus of the thinking curriculum is: "preparing children to become active and thoughtful citizens" (McAuliffe, 2005).


Paraphrasing

Developing a thinking curriculum means not just focusing on teaching content, its emphasis is on teaching children to use higher order thinking skills in their approach to learning (McAuliffe, 2005).
