Research

Department of Biomedical and Health Sciences research is enhanced by our access to Swinburne's cutting edge facilities including Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Magnetoencephalography (MEG), Electroencephalography (EEG), Trans-cranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) and computing facilities for analysis. The biomedical laboratories provide equipment for biomedical instrumentation and clinical monitoring research projects.

Some of our staff are members of the NHMRC-funded Australian Centre for Electromagnetic Bioeffects Research, including a purpose-built Radiofrequency Laboratory at Swinburne.

International links for research in Sport Science and Nutrition have recently been established.
