Students, staff, and friends of our Swinburne community are invited to join our celebration of love, equality and pride with the rest of our LGBTI community at the University’s 2018 Pride celebrations.

Our Vice-Chancellor and President, Prof. Linda Kristjanson, will open the formal program with a message of commitment to LGBTI inclusion at Swinburne and an invitation for all staff and students to participate in programs that help promote and nurture a healthy University environment free from discrimination, bullying and harassment.

This year’s guest speaker is Morgan Carpenter, advocate, researcher, and consultant on bodily diversity issues, and co-executive director of Intersex Human Rights Australia (IHRA).

After the formal program, our Vice-Chancellor and Morgan Carpenter will lead our pride parade around the campus, followed by a Pride celebratory event at the Swinburne Student Union’s Hammer and Swine (Level 3, UN Building).

Free open event; no registrations required.
