Microsoft More Personal Computing Hackathon

Opaque Multimedia, Swinburne University of Technology, Creative Victoria and Microsoft are pleased to bring to you the More Personal Computing Hackathon to open Melbourne International Games Week 2015.

The 48-hour hackathon will run from Friday 23 October – Sunday 25 October 2015 at Swinburne University of Technology's Hawthorn campus.

The hackathon is an opportunity to imagine new technological and cultural possibilities in the digital realm.  Get your team together now to plan your challenge.

Over the weekend, interdisciplinary teams can collaborate to develop new software, from initial concept through to working prototype.

Come and learn from the experts about Microsoft’s More Personal Computing platforms and explore how Kinect, Microsoft Band, Unity Games Dev, Unreal Azure machine learning and other products can push new frontiers in health, arts, design and more.

Start assembling your winning team now! Hackathon winners will receive prizes in each device category and the overall winner will be flown to Sydney for the launch of Microsoft’s first flagship store outside North America.
