International Students: Aussie bush and beach program

International students, join us for a full day outing exploring a wildlife sanctuary and meeting native animals.
Spend the afternoon with Australian Life Savers learning about the truth and myths of what’s in our waters. Plus, you'll also learn essential beach safety skills to help you make the most of your Aussie beach holiday.
Visit Moonlit Sanctuary – Meet koalas, kangaroos, dingoes, Tasmanian devils, reptiles and hand feed wallabies.
Sorrento beach – A unique opportunity from Surf Life Saving Victoria to participate in beach games and learn critical life saving techniques and water safety. Swimming skills not required to participate.
The $10 booking fee (non-refundable) includes:
- Return transport departing from Hawthorn campus
- Entry into Moonlit Sanctuary Wildlife Conservation Park
- Light Aussie BBQ lunch
- Participation in Life Saving Victoria beach safety
- Program includes equipment and experience at both the Sorrento surf and bay beach
