The Swinburne Wellbeing Clinic for Older Adults presents an exciting series of seminars featuring guest presenters who are experts in the field of mental health and ageing to cover issues relating to late life conditions and treatments. In the next seminar, Deborah Koder will present a lecture titled "Cognitive behavioural therapy in dementia care.

This talk will focus on the use of cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) for older adults living with dementia. Research, case studies and practical suggestions will be used to highlight the opportunities, barriers and changes required to provide individuals with this model of care.

Dr Deborah Koder is a Senior Clinical Psychologist for the Specialist Mental Health Service for Older People within the Sydney Local Health District.
