Californian gem LA is blessed with year round sunshine, the Pacific Ocean to the west and rugged mountains to the east. Across coast, the creative, cultural hub of New York is a fast-paced business centre that is America’s epicentre of the arts. AIC will source you an internship that is tailored to your studies, and provide support with logistics like housing and visas.

  • Duration: Six weeks 
  • Academic credit: Professional Internship Unit Extended 25CP \ Media and Communication Project A/B \ Professional Experience in Engineering 
  • Cost: Los Angeles: US$5,830 (approx. A$8,050) \ New York: US$6,150 (approx. A$8,500)

Application deadline

Applications will be assessed on a rolling basis, with places allocated to the first students to complete a full application and meet eligibility criteria

*Note:  Some study areas and majors are difficult to source internships for only six weeks. AIC can provide advice and guidance on alternative locations if required, but internships are not guaranteed.

Eligibility

Specific eligibility requirements depend on the academic unit being utilised, but all students must meet the minimum eligibility criteria below:

  • Be studying an undergraduate course
  • Completed at least 100CP (8 units)
  • Have an average weighted mark of at least 50%
  • Have available space in your course for the applicable academic unit (domestic students may be able overload their degree)
