As part of your education placement, you will teach at local schools, working with a local Malaysian mentor teacher. Primary, secondary and early childhood places are available.

Note: A$3,000 New Colombo Plan Scholarships are available to eligible and selected students for this placement.

Eligible students

Eligibility Tiers as follows: 

Tier 1 - Eligible to complete the followings units in Semester 2, 2019: 

Tier 2 - Eligible to complete the followings units in Semester 1, 2020: 

Tier 3 - Eligible to complete the following units in Semester 2, 2019: 

Tier 4:

  • Masters students completing their first or second placement (Not: Ready to Teach) are eligible to apply to attend however they are not eligible to receive a New Colombo Plan Scholarship.
