Film and Culture: Italian Residential

This is a residential study program based for two weeks in the charming city of Conegliano close to Venice, then for one week at the prestigious and historical Fondazione Cini in Venice. You will be immersed in Italian film and culture whilst taking in the extraordinary history of this important artistic region of Europe. Included in the residential are day trips to the Italian Biennale, Accademia Gallery in Venice, the Dolomites Mountains, opera in Verona, churches in Padua, the film archives in Pordenone and the rich visual and social culture of the region. The program culminates in the festivities and spectacular fireworks of the Redentore on the Venice lagoon.

Students who participate in this unit are eligible to gain up to 12.5 credit points towards their degree.
