The Academic Internship Council will source a customised internship placement for you, based on your studies, experience, interests and career goals.

  • Academic credit: Professional Internship Unit Extended 25CP \ Media and Communications Project A/B \ Professional Experience in Engineering
  • Cost: Toronto: US$5,500 (approx. A$7,600) \ Vancouver: US$5,500 (approx. A$7,600)

Application deadline

Applications will be assessed on a rolling basis, with places allocated to the first students to complete a full application and meet eligibility criteria.

  • Final deadline for applications: 15 February 2020

*Note: Some study areas and majors are difficult to source internships for. AIC can provide advice and guidance on alternative locations if required, but internships are not guaranteed.

Eligible students

Specific eligibility requirements depend on the academic unit being utilised, but all students must meet the minimum eligibility criteria below:

  • Be studying an undergraduate course
  • Completed at least 100CP (8 units)
  • Have an average weighted mark of at least 50%
  • Have available space in your course for the applicable academic unit (domestic students may be able overload their degree)
