Orientation for international students

Orientation helps you get started at Swinburne. During Orientation we will provide you with handy tips to help you prepare for study and feel at home in Melbourne.

During Orientation you can:

  • enjoy free food and entertainment
  • meet your teachers and other students
  • get important information about your course
  • take a tour of campus and the library
  • get help with enrolment and housing.

In addition to Orientation sessions that are organised according to your faculty or department, there are some sessions just for international students. These include help with enrolment, help with finding a place to live, and special sessions for English-language (ELICOS), UniLink and Foundation Year students.
