Swinburne University of Technology has partnered with Eftsure, a reputable organisation for the management of supplier onboarding and secure payment services.

Eftsure verifies all supplier details ensuring that supplier payments are protected against fraud and error.

About Eftsure

Eftsure is the new security standard for business payments. The platform helps ensure that we securely pay our vendors using the right bank details. 

By using Eftsure's third-party supplier verification, our outgoing payments can't be intercepted by cybercriminals or fraudsters.

New suppliers

How to register

To register as a new supplier, email fpp@swinburne.edu.au to request registration.

A member of the Swinburne finance operations team will then send you a link containing details on how to onboard via the Eftsure portal.

Onboarding process

As part of the onboarding process, you will need to provide these details:

  • ABN and GST registration (applies to domestic suppliers)
  • company name or trading name
  • address
  • email
  • bank account details
  • any other relevant information.
     

After you have entered your company details, an Eftsure team member will call you on an independently sourced phone number to confirm that the details are correct. The team member may be based in Australia or overseas.

Note: If you are an international supplier, you may receive a call from the Swinburne finance operations team instead of the Eftsure team.

Current suppliers

If you are a current Swinbure supplier, Eftsure will validate your account details against its database of over four million verified suppliers.

If you have not provided goods or services to Swinburne within a period of 12 months, you will be required to re-validate your account details with Eftsure. Please email fpp@swinburne.edu.au who can provide you with a secure link to do this.

How to update your details

To update your details, please email fpp@swinburne.edu.au and request an 'Eftsure change request'.

You will receive an email from Eftsure with a link to update your data in their portal. After updating, you will receive a confirmation email once your data has been verified.

Depending on the data being updated, you may receive a phone call from an Eftsure team member to verify your details over the phone before receiving the confirmation email.
