We bring the latest in applied mathematics research to a school audience through our annual Archimedes Lecture and the CSIRO Mathematicians in Schools program.

Archimedes Lecture

In annual celebration of National Science Week, Swinburne’s Department of Mathematics partners with the Australian Mathematical Sciences Institute to deliver an informative and entertaining public lecture by a guest mathematician. High school mathematics teachers will find this a great opportunity to catch up on cutting-edge mathematics and meet tertiary colleagues over pre-lecture refreshments.
