The Dean’s Scholarship: Excellence in Architecture and Urban Design

Benefits

50% off your course fees

 

Eligibility

To be considered, you must be a new student applying for these degrees:

  • Master of Architecture
  • Master of Urban Design
  • Master of Architecture and Urban Design

 

How to apply

You will automatically be assessed for a 50% scholarship after submitting a 10-20 page portfolio and complete application. Applicants who are not successful will also be considered for the International Excellence Postgraduate Scholarship with up to 25% off course fees.

International Excellence Undergraduate Scholarship

Benefits

  • Receive 10% - 25% off your course fees every year for a maximum of 4 years
  • Up to AUD $38,000 total

 

Eligibility

To be eligible, you must:

  • be applying to study a bachelor degree
  • be a citizen of any country except Australia or New Zealand. Permanent residents of Australia are not eligible
  • not be currently accepted or enrolled at Swinburne, unless you are only enrolled in our ELICOS program
  • not be holding another scholarship or reduced fee arrangement

Just apply for your Swinburne course of choice. We will automatically assess you for a scholarship.

Vice-Chancellor’s Excellence Scholarship

Benefits

  • Receive AU$5,000 every year for the normal duration of your degree
  • Membership into the High Achievers Program
  • One-off payment of AU$2,000 towards any international study experience

 

Eligibility

To be eligible for this scholarship, you must:

  • be a Year 12 student in a high school in Australia
  • be commencing a Swinburne degree in the year after leaving school
  • achieve a minimum ATAR of 95.00
  • meet the prerequisites of your chosen degree

 

How to apply

There is no need to apply. As long as you preference a Swinburne degree and achieve an ATAR of 95 or higher you will automatically be offered a Vice-Chancellor’s Excellence Scholarship and entry into the High Achievers Program.

International Excellence Postgraduate Scholarship

Benefits

  • For most master degrees, receive 10%-25% off your course fee every year for a maximum of two years
  • Up to AUD $21,000

 

Eligibility

To be eligible, you must:

  • be a citizen of any country except Australia or New Zealand. Permanent residents of Australia are not eligible
  • be applying for a 2-year master degree by coursework, but not be currently accepted or enrolled at Swinburne in a 2-year master by coursework program
  • not be holding another scholarship or reduced fee arrangement
  • not have received credit transfers or exemptions

International Alumni Direct Scholarship

Benefits

For most undergraduate degrees:

  • 10% - 25% off your course fees every year for a maximum of 4 years
  • up to AUD $38,000

For most postgraduate degrees:

  • 10% - 25% off your course fees every year for a maximum of 2 years
  • up to AUD $21,000

 

Eligibility

To be eligible, you must:

  • be applying directly to Swinburne (not via an agent or authorised representative) for an undergraduate or postgraduate degree at Swinburne
  • be a citizen of any country except Australia or New Zealand. Permanent residents of Australia are not eligible
  • have completed an undergraduate or postgraduate degree at Swinburne, or have recently completed a Swinburne pathway course
  • not be holding another scholarship or reduced fee arrangement
