Supply Chain Innovation

Outpace the competition with operational efficiency

Supply chains affect every industry in every sector. This is your opportunity to grow and sustain business by innovating next-generation supply chains.

With the proliferation of new and emerging technologies organisations are under pressure to innovate their logistics solutions and change the way they make, move, store and pay for future products and services. All this while still aligning with suppliers and manufacturers to deliver seamless experiences to customers globally.

In these global first postgraduate courses, combining innovation and emerging technologies with traditional supply chain education, you’ll learn to strategically maximise efficiency with design thinking, lean management and business analytics. You will learn to optimise logistics and provide cost savings to your business and time savings to your customers.

This program will also give you industry credentials. By completing the Supply Chain Management unit you will become eligible for the GS1 Academic Certificate. On top of that, to give you an edge over others with similar ambitions, you will take the Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification early in your program.

Master of Supply Chain Innovation

Course Director, Dr John Hopkins and AGSE industry partner GS1 Australian education manager, Terry Papadis talk about the value of Swinburne’s Master of Supply Chain innovation.

Who you are

You are an early career professional or mid-level executive wanting to advance into a senior role where you will be driving business change and designing supply chains others haven’t imagined yet.

Where it can take you

With your postgraduate qualification and advanced knowledge and skills, you could lead your organisation in optimising or innovating supply chain performance in manufacturing, transport, retail, energy, agriculture, defence… the list goes on.

An estimated 80 to 90 percent of new product launches fail. A new study suggests that's partly because businesses overlook the supply chain in their planning.
