Partner entities

Open Universities Australia

Open Universities Australia (OUA) is owned and partnered by seven Australian universities, including Swinburne. As an online education provider, it offers an alternative to traditional classroom learning — instead of attending physical classes, you access lectures and learning materials online, and you can discuss coursework with other students in online forums.

By studying as an OUA student through Swinburne, the units and the qualifications you achieve are identical to those awarded to on-campus students — the only difference is you learn at your own pace, when and where it suits you. OUA offers students the ability to study single units of study (individual units), or an entire course/degree. Students can also register to be admitted into, and work towards, a degree at one of OUA's partner providers.
