Achievement Awards - 2008 Applications now closed!
These awards recognise the talents and perseverance of students
who have been courageous in the face of the challenges
that life has presented to them. The awards also recognise their
capacity to overcome difficulties, with their own efforts or
with the assistance of others, and to continue with and meet
their study commitments.
In 2008 there will be several awards of $500 each.
To apply for this award you must have completed at least one year of study at Swinburne University of Technology to demonstrate that you overcame life's challenges.
To have your application considered you can be:
from any tertiary stream, discipline or campus including TAFE, undergraduate or postgraduate; a student with a disability; a student with refugee or asylum seeker status; a local or International student; studying full-time or part-time.
You will also be required to demonstrate the following:
perseverance, adaptability and capacity to balance study and leisure activities; improvement in studies due to overcoming life's challenges and obstacles.
