Relationship problems can have a huge impact on your studies and your general wellbeing. Usually we can minimise these difficulties by talking with friends, and with our loved ones, to resolve any conflicts that may arise before they impact our lives too much. Sometimes, however, these difficulties may feel very personal, such as issues relating to your sexual orientation, and you may be afraid to discuss them with those close to you. Talking with a counsellor can help can help in these instances. There are a number of services and resources that can help you deal with specific gay and lesbian issues, and related relationship difficulties. It may be that you are unsure about your sexuality, or are having difficulty with friends or family members after 'coming out'. Both private and family counselling can help you deal these challenges and improve the quality of your relationships.
