has not already been answered. If you are looking for information for the
purposes of TAFE or University projects, please view the information
in our resources section, rather than submitting a question.
This service is intended for students of Swinburne University
and TAFE, who have personal questions about psychological
and emotional issues, which they may not feel comfortable
asking a counsellor face-to-face. If your questions relate
to a specific course or service at Swinburne please use the
Ask George service instead.
This is not a 24 hour service. If you need an answer immediately,

I understand that my Swin-eCounselling questions will be confidential. However, legal compliance requires that if the responding counsellor is concerned about my safety or the safety of others, then this confidentiality may be broken. Records may be subpoenaed for court in exceptional circumstances. Under no other circumstances will the confidentiality of my personal record be broken. I understand that my confidential records remain the property of Swin-eCounselling, Swinburne University Of Technology. I may request to view my personal information in these records. I understand that service-wide statistical, non identifying material may be generated to allow the planning and provision of services.
