Pakistan - The Higher Education Commission (HEC) Scholarship

Swinburne University of Technology has signed an agreement with the Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan to jointly support qualified students from Pakistan, enrolling into Masters by Research leading to PhD and PhD programs at Swinburne.

In 2022, four successful applicants will be provided with a Swinburne-HEC Scholarship which provides a living allowance offered by HEC and a Tuition Scholarship for up to 4 years offered by Swinburne.

Eligibility / selection criteria

To be eligible, you must meet:

  • Swinburne’s Academic Entry Requirements and English Language Requirement for Master by Research and PhD Programs
  • the genuine temporary entrant conditions
  • selection criteria set out by The Higher Education Commission (HEC).

Value

A living allowance of $19,000 AUD per annum will be offered to successful applicants by HEC. In addition to this, HEC will also support these students with one return international airfare and Overseas Health Cover (OSHC) for up to 4 years. 

A Tuition Fee Scholarship for up to 4 years will be offered to successful applicants by Swinburne University of Technology.


How to apply


Conditions

You must meet Swinburne’s entry requirements for the relevant program that you are applying for (Master by Research or PhD). The student also has to get a confirmation from HEC of having been awarded the scholarship for living stipend, return airfare and Overseas Health Cover (OSHC)
