Aims and objectives

This capstone unit of study aims to provide you with research skills for the preparation of high quality presentations and reports.
After successfully completing this unit, you should be able to:
1. Demonstrate effective teamwork skills. (A7)
2. Demonstrate project management skills in planning and executing an innovative project. (S4)
3. Plan and execute a major research project and complete the task satisfactorily within time and budget. (A5)
4. Research an engineering topic, and synthesise knowledge and skills acquired during the course. (K3, K4, S1, A1)
5. Assesses current literature. (K3, K4, S1)
6. Generate a major project report. (K1, K3, K4, S1, A1, A2, A3, A5, A7)
7. Deliver a professional seminar presentation. (A2)
