Aims and objectives

This unit is intended to guide students to proficiency in theory and practice using industry standard imaging hardware and software, and to contextualise these in contemporary cultures and historical practices.
After successfully completing this unit, students will be able to:
1. Evaluate and create strategies relevant to planning, design and production utilising a range of imaging and photographic techniques
.2. Demonstrate proficiency in composing digital images using industry standard tools.mm
3. Evaluate relevant media and imaging theories and methodologies.
4. Critique and evaluate contemporary and historical imaging practices.
