Aims and objectives
Unit Learning Outcomes (ULO)
Students who successfully complete this unit will be able to:
1. Develop BIM model management and documentation standards and how to deploy and administer them effectively based on industry best practice.
2. Develop, manage and maintain BIM project templates and libraries based on industry best practice.
3. Develop platforms that can support a knowledgebase and/or wiki environment for knowledge capture.
4. Develop methodologies for training using a variety of modes including face to face, recorded and documented.
5. Identify and manage staff within an organisation to build a support network and options to ensure their professional development in BIM.
6. Establish workplace organisation's policies and methods for BIM office management, ensuring that solutions are supported and in harmony.
