Swinburne University of Technology is one of the few dual sector institutions that offer both TAFE courses and Higher Education courses. Below is a list of the range of courses that we offer.

- Pathways Swinburne is able to provide students with a credit transfer system known as Pathways. If students are interested in continuing their formal education, the Swinburne Pathways program will ensure that students gain the maximum benefit from their previous studies. Whether students come from Swinburne TAFE or another TAFE institute, credit transfer Pathways are in place to help students enter the right course at the appropriate level.

- VTAC (Victoria Tertiary Admission Centre) For our February intake each year, all of Swinburne’s undergraduate courses require an application through VTAC. This also applies to most full time higher level TAFE courses. Individual course outlines will indicate how you can apply for the course – either through VTAC or a direct application to Swinburne.
- VTAC Publications A VTAC publication to help mature aged students returning to study or prospective students unfamiliar with the Australian education system.
